The wedding of Matt and Sarah was a very relaxed atmosphere with some wonderful speeches – courtesy of their 2 best men Mike and Thomas. After a very atmospheric servic at St. Teresa’s, we headed off for a the wedding reception at West Tower www.westtower.com With such fantastic weather, it was the perfect backdrop as guests sipped champagne whilst relaxing on the patio. After the most amazing speeches -they were so funny. The evening party was buzzing and the couple danced to the early hours of the morning – courtesy of some great entetainment from Steve Mitchell. www.steve-mitchell.co.uk Matt and Sarah – thanks for a fantastic day. We are enriched by the fact that we both have careers we just love, however, its even more rewarding when the people you photograph appreciate how passionate you are about what you do and also them. Tonight Natalie and Paul came to see their wedding pictures for the first time and they touched us so much with a lovely card. “Dear Paula and Bob, We just wanted to say a hugh thank you for how hard you both worked on our wedding day. You really helped put two very camera shy people at ease! Paula you were invaluable on the morning too – thanks for sorting my mums corsage and bringing a sense of calm to a chaotic house! Were really looking forward to seeing the photos which i am sure will be wonderful Lots of Love ~ Natalie and Paul ”
Its always lovely to get thank you cards from our couples but its even more touching when you receive a card with such heartfelt words even before the couple have seen their pictures. Px.

What a fabulous wedding! Natalie and Paul’s wedding at West Tower was such a day to remember. Natalie looked stunning and never once looked nervous whilst Paul and the Best man gave award winning speeches that had everyone in raptures. At the end of the ceremony, the couple had a touching surprise blessing of their wedding vows and from then on until late into the night, the guests were entertained by the fantastic Manchester vocalist, Cole Page. www.colepage.co.uk. West Tower was as impressive as ever and guests were treated to canapes of cones of miniature fish and chips whilst Lyndsay and the team were organised, friendly and as helpful as usual. www.westtower.com. It was great to catch up with Chris and Ken of Abbey Video www.abbeyvideo.info I am sure their filming will have captures so very magical moments. Its great to reflect back on the previous year and have so many fond memories of special people and special moments. When someone chooses you to photograph their wedding its such an honour and a compliment as 2 people setting out on their journey together are placing so much trust in you. Despite a cold December morning and the first glimmer of snow, the temperatures were soaring at West Tower Hotel, for the wedding of Brendan and Justine. The beautiful and very warm open fires provided the perfect setting and atmosphere for the wedding of this fun loving couple. www.westtower.co.uk . Whilst we were able to go outside for just a couple of pictures, it was far too cold to stay outside too long so whilst the couple spent some time celebrating with the guests we were able to capture some great reportage images and set up our portable lighting studio for the family shots. Whilst we now spend less time than ever photographing family shots as couples are opting for the more relaxed approach, I still feel that these images are so important to the couple and should be captured professionally, in the best possible lighting and surroundings. Lovely blue skies and a warm sunday morning greeted us as we returned to West Tower for the wedding of Bill and Jacky.www.westtower.co.uk The day was so relaxed yet planned to perfection – (I am sure Bill wont mind me saying that the planning was mainly down to Jacky’s hard work and her thoughtfulness in ensuring that everybody had a fantastic time.)Bill’s Scottish roots gave a perfect theme for the wedding which was evident throughout the whole day – even down to the bridal favours, inspired by the great Scottish designer, Charles Rennie Macintosh. Jacky and Bill see you soon, Nat hope we can keep you home long enough to see the pictures. P x
