Wedding Photography in Manchester

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

Last Sunday we had a great day as we met up with Catherine and Dave to re launch weddings at the Thistle hotel in Manchester (shortly to return to its former name ) “The Portland”. Catherine is no stranger to the camera  as she has appeared in  BBC1’s famous Holby City and also as “Iris” in the popular BBC drama “Lilies”.  www.unitedagents.co.uk/catherine-tyldesley Luckily the hotel’s has lots of interior features that are popular with bride and grooms that are looking for a  contemporary feel to their wedding – as it was really bitter outside and was threatening to snow once again! Catherine’s style of gown was carefully selected to create the overall image from the finest of designers, Co Cu. www.co.cu.co.uk. Next Thursday the hotel will be hosting the first of its open evenings to officially launch the venue, when the complete set of images will be on display www.thistle.com – in the meantime – here is few. Golden Opportunity in West Lancashire

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

On Tuesday evening the team at the West Lancashire Investment Centre hosted another great event ” Golden Opportunity for your business”.www.westlancashireinvestmentcentre.com Over the past 12 months, they have hosted some top entrepreneurs such as Deirdre Bounds and it was great to see her return to the North West on Tuesday evening and hear her story once again. For anybody who does’nt know Deirdre’s story – Deirdre is now one of the most prominent female entrepreneurs.  She built the world’s largest gap year company which became a multinational, award-winning organisation. In 2007 she sold the company to a FTSE 100 Company. Deidre is also now a successful writer and recently published her first book ” Fulfilled A personal revolution in 7 steps. www.deirdrebounds.com We were fortunate to also welcome a new speaker to the North West –   Gerald Ratner. In the mid 80’s Gerald became one of Britain’s best known businessmen. He transformed Ratner’s the jeweller’s from 130 stores with sales of £13m to a public company with 2,500 stores and sales of over £1.2bn. In 1991, Following a widely reported gaffe in which he compared his products to M&S prawn sandwiches, Gerald was forced to sell the business. He has now turned his fortunes around and his rollercoaster journey is intriguing and there are many lessons to be learnt from this gentleman. I know that behind the scenes of these hugely successful events, Lisa Ratican, Clare Joynson, Alice Grieve, Paula Hubber and Bernadette Montague work really hard to bring these inspiring, motivational events together and I look forward to seeing the calender of events for 2010.  P.xwest lancs

Stuart and Gemma ~ Thistle Hotel, Haydock

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

The Sun was beaming down and the lighting was perfect for the wedding of Stuart and Gemma. Such a rich Autumnal day for a wedding so perfectly planned by both Stuart, Gemma and their ever so close families. Stuart decided to break from tradition and chose a “Best Lady” rather than a Best Man. Laura was so organized and delivered a confident speech that was packed with clean, fun humour.  Stuart and Gemma, hope your having a great time in Florida – see you soon. Px.r-f blog

Lovely blue skies and a warm sunday morning greeted us as we returned to West Tower for the wedding of Bill and Jacky.www.westtower.co.uk The day was so relaxed  yet planned to perfection – (I am sure Bill wont mind me saying that the planning was mainly down to Jacky’s hard work and her thoughtfulness in ensuring that everybody had a fantastic time.)Bill’s Scottish roots gave a perfect theme for the wedding which was evident throughout the whole day – even down to the bridal favours, inspired by the great Scottish designer, Charles Rennie Macintosh. Jacky and Bill see you soon,  Nat hope we can keep you home long enough to see the pictures. P x Bill-Jacky_Blog
